PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy describe how Big Bear Cat (also referred to as "us", "our" or "we") collect, share and use your ("you", or "user") data in RPG Notebook: Campaign Manager and Book of Spells 5e ("Apps").

By using our Apps, you give your consent to the processing of your data as described in this Privacy Policy.

What data do we collect and why

Advertising

We have free versions of our Apps that serve relevant third-party advertisements. These advertisements are delivered to you by Google AdMob, who process your personal data for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention purposes. To enable this, we embed a software development kit ("Google Mobile Ads SDK"), which may collect certain information, including:

• IP address, which may be used to estimate the general location of a device.
• Non-user related crash logs, which may be used to diagnose problems and improve the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Diagnostic information may also be used for advertising and analytics purposes.
• User-associated performance data such as app launch time, hang rate, or energy usage, which may be used to evaluate user behavior, understand the effectiveness of existing product features, and plan new features. Performance data may also be used for displaying ads, including sharing with other entities that display ads.
• A Device ID such as the device's advertising identifier or other app-bounded device identifiers, which may be used for the purpose of third-party advertising and analytics.
• Advertising data, such as advertisements the user has seen, may be used to power analytics and advertising features.
• Other user product interactions like app launch taps, and interaction information, like video views, may be used to improve advertising performance.

Crash reports

We use Crashlytics (Firebase, a Google company) to get relevant crash reports that help us fix bugs and improve our Apps. For Crashlytics to work, certain information, that does not personally identify you, is automatically collected. This information includes, but is not limited to, device state information, unique device identifiers, device hardware and OS information, information relating to how an application functions, and the physical location of a device at the time of a crash. This data is transferred to, stored and processed in the United States and other countries, where the Google services operate.

In-app purchases

We understand that you may not want to see any ads, and if that is your preference, you can buy premium versions of our Apps, in the form of an in-app purchase, that do not show ads. This option will be available to you when you first open our Apps (and later in the "Store" section).

We use RevenueCat to verify, process and restore in-app purchases. It provides us with data on when a user first used the Apps and with information about their purchases. This information is linked to an anonymous App User ID and RevenueCat does not have access to any personal information.

Opt-out of targeted advertising

If you would like to opt out of receiving personalized ads you can do so at any time by going to privacy settings of your device.

For Android go to Settings -> Google -> Ads and check "Opt out of Ads Personalization" or tap "Delete advertising ID".

For iOS go to Settings -> Privacy -> Advertising and check "Limit Ad Tracking" or Settings -> Privacy -> Tracking and uncheck "Allow Apps to Request to Track".

Please note that this will block your smartphone/tablet from receiving personalized ads across your device.

Children's privacy

Our Apps are not intended for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly direct or target personalized advertising to anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to use our Apps. If you are under 13, please do not download or use our Apps.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated date and will be effective as soon as it is accessible. We will notify you about the updates through the "Release notes" of our Apps (available in the "About" section).

If you object to any changes to our Privacy Policy, you should immediately stop using our Apps. Your continued use of our Apps after the changes become effective will be subject to the newly updated Privacy Policy.
